Vehicle Fire with exposures, 42 Island Ford Rd.

OCTOBER 02 - Company 80 and Rescue 35 were toned for a vehicle fire. The crew from engine 801 found a small amount of fire coming from a pick-up truck and due to its close proximity of a near by business added company 30 to the assignment. Traffic Crash on Massanutten Drive

OCTOBER 01 - Company 80 and Rescue 35 were toned for a traffic crash with entrapment. On engine 801's arrival personnel found a single vehicle traffic crash with the car lying on it's side on a guardrail. Stabilization of the vehicle was started and squad 33 (Elkton Fire )was called for additional stabilization. Personnel stabilized the vehicle and extricated the single occupant of the vehicle.... Truck 80 on 2nd Alarm Structure fire in Harrisonburg

SEPTEMBER 11 - Truck 80 along with other units from Rockingham County were dispatched for an early morning 2nd alarm fire to assist the City of Harrisonburg in the 1700 block of South High St.. The crew from truck 80 assisted in fire suppresion and overhaul operations. The fire damaged four buildings before bringing it under control. Thanks to Pam Monger for taking the pictures.... Fatal Traffic Crash on S. Eastside Hwy.

AUGUST 06 - C80 and R35 were dispatched for a early morning 2 vehicle crash with roll over. Upon arrival, E801 found an apparent head on collision with one vehicle on its top. Crews quickly assessed the patients and found one priority 2 patient and 1 priority 4 patient. The priority 2 patient was air lifted to UVA Medical Center via AirCare5.
